PREAMBLE: DATA PRIVACY NOTICE
ACEINTEL LTD (“Aceintelng”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID) 2025. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal data when you engage with our services, including accessing our internet marketing, branding, and real estate sales solutions.

PART 1: OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA PROCESSING PRINCIPLES
We adhere to the data processing principles outlined in Section 24 of the NDPA 2023 and Articles 2–5 of GAID 2025, ensuring that all personal data is:
– Processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
– Collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes.
– Adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary.
– Accurate and kept up to date.
– Stored only as long as necessary.
– Secured against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

PART 2: CONSENT OF DATA SUBJECT
We process personal data based on your consent, contractual necessity, legal obligations, or legitimate interests. By using our services, you consent to our processing of your data as described in this Privacy Policy & Terms of Service. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see Part 20).

PART 3: OUR SCOPE OF DATA PROCESSING
We may collect and process:

– Identity Data: Name, date of birth, gender, national identification number
(NIN), passport details.
– Contact Data: Phone number, email address, residential and postal address.
– Financial Data: Bank account details for property transactions.
– Property Data: Ownership details, property images, location, valuation, and
related documentation.
– Marketing Data: Preferences, feedback, and engagement with our
campaigns.
– Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and usage logs.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

We obtained your Basic Personal Data when your Aceintelng account was created, using the Aceintelng registration form, your basic personal & company data would have been entered, which is used to support your experience throughout the website, to manage access to your account, and for other purposes described in our Terms of Service. Other uses of your basic personal data on our website are:

  • To identify you, and to supply your authenticated identity to Aceintelng or third party applications and services used on the website;
  • To communicate with you about Aceintelng and its service offerings;
  • To perform security/audit logging
  • To perform problem determination, system administration, usage tracking, and support activities; and
  • To set secure cookies which maintain your authenticated user session.

Applications and services may use your Basic Personal Data in these ways:

  • To uniquely identify you;
  • To communicate with you about your Account status;
  • To authorize your level of access;
  • To reflect your Basic Personal Data to you (for example, an on-screen greeting);
  • To perform security/audit logging, including in conjunction with your IP Address;
  • To perform problem determination, system administration, subscription management, usage tracking, and support activities; and
  • To set secure cookies which maintain your authenticated user session(s) with applications or services.

Where appropriate, Aceintelng may use selected partners to process your Basic Personal Data for problem determination, system administration, usage tracking, and support activities. These partners may reside in any country where they conduct business.

Applications or services which use your Basic Personal Data for different purposes than those above will provide you with notification, or when appropriate, an opportunity to consent to such use.

If you do not wish your Basic Personal Data to be used for the above purposes, you have the option of not using Aceintelng, or asking us to delete your Account.

Embedded content from other websites

Property postings & articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

PART 4: DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
In accordance with Sections 34–40 NDPA, you have the right to:

  1. Access your personal data.
  2. Request correction or update of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  3. Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
  4. Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  5. Object to processing, especially for direct marketing.
  6. Data portability.
  7. Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

PART 5: DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY
– Data will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.
– We implement encryption, access controls, secure servers, and periodic security audits to protect personal data.

How long we retain your data

Aceintelng will keep your Basic Personal Data while you have an active Aceintelng account and as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law. Data already present in security or audit logs, support records, or business transaction records, may be retained for those purposes.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Aceintelng implements commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect the personal Information you share with us, both online and offline from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, email sent to or from us may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via the service, contact forms or email. In addition, we are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the website, or third-party websites.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).

PART 6: MANDATORY DATA COLLECTION
Some data is mandatory for compliance with legal or contractual obligations (e.g., KYC requirements, property transaction verification). Failure to provide such data may result in our inability to provide services.

PART 7: TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

We may share your personal data with:
– Regulatory authorities (e.g., NDPC, EFCC, CBN, relevant land/property registries etc.).
– Financial institutions for transaction processing.
– Professional service providers (lawyers, surveyors, valuers) & Third party application service providers.
All third parties are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.

How do we process Payments & Card Information

We use a third party payment processor, which processes your payments (Debit or Credit Cards or other payment methods) on our behalf. We do not store your card details.

PART 8: TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND COOKIES
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality, personalize content, and analyze traffic. You can manage or disable cookies via your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them. You may also accept, deny or customize the cookies from our homepage cookies consent management notification.

PART 9: PERSONAL DATA SECURITY AND INTEGRITY
We maintain organizational, physical, and technical measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and secure data backups to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal data.

PART 10: JOB APPLICANTS
If you apply for a job at ACEINTEL LTD, we will collect and process your CV, cover-letter, academic qualifications, and reference details. Data will only be used for recruitment purposes and retained for no longer than one year unless otherwise required by law.

PART 11: MAINTAINING ACCURATE INFORMATION
You are encouraged to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. Please update your information from your dedicated user interface or contact us promptly to update your information (see Part 20).

PART 12: CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18 without parental or guardian consent. If such data is inadvertently collected, it will be deleted immediately upon discovery.

PART 13: CAVEAT ON WEBSITE LINKS
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such external websites.

PART 14: TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES AND CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS
Where data is transferred outside Nigeria, we will ensure compliance with Sections 41–43 NDPA by implementing appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or ensuring the recipient country provides adequate data protection.

PART 16: DATA DELETION
You may request the deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain information for tax, anti-money laundering, or property transaction record purposes.

PART 17: DATA SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST (DSAR)
Requests to access, correct, or delete personal data can be made by emailing our DPO. We will respond within 30 days in line with NDPA requirements. You can also access, correct or request for your data to be exported from the Settings page of “My Profile” on your dedicated dashboard.

PART 18: REMEDIATION
In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the NDPC and affected data subjects within 72 hours of becoming aware, in line with Section 40 NDPA and GAID breach notification provisions.

PART 19: ALTERATION OF PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The updated version will be posted on our website with the “Effective Date” clearly stated.
